M. Mohsin Shah, is a multi-faceted neurosurgeon with extensive training and unique skills. He received his medical degree from the University of Peshawar. He underwent residency training in Neurology at the University of California – Irvine. Pursuing his interest in stroke and neurotrauma, he completed fellowships in neurocritical care at the University of California – Los Angeles and Interventional Neuroradiology at Portland Neurovascular Center in Portland, Oregon. He subsequently pursued formal neurosurgery residency at the University of Louisville where he gained extensive experience in complex spine surgery with renowned surgeons at the Leatherman Spine Institute and a fellowship in Cerebrovascular and skull base surgery at the renowned Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington. He is board certified in Neurology and board eligible in Neurosurgery. His practice encompasses Neurotrauma, Stroke, and complex brain and spine surgery. In addition, Dr. Shah is an independent contractor for neurosurgery with US Healthworks, treating patients with occupational neurospine injuries at their Santa Ana and Chino clinics.
